Take Form Development
The Start to Scale Scorecard

Is your business built to scale, or built around you?

Most owners can feel that something is off without being able to name it. This diagnostic scores the five fundamentals every company runs on and the fifteen skills underneath them, so the vague feeling turns into a specific list of what to fix.

What you get back

  1. 01

    Your stage.

Operator, Manager, Owner, or Architect, placed on the ladder with an overall score out of five. Not a label for its own sake. It comes with what's true at your stage and what has to change before you can leave it.

  2. 02

    Your profile.

The shape of your results, named. Whether you're evenly stretched across all five or carrying one deep weakness changes what you should do first, and the report tells you which you are.

  3. 03

    All five fundamentals, scored.

Shown as a radar so you can see the shape of the business rather than a ranking.

  4. 04

    Fifteen sub-competencies, scored individually.

This is where “my delivery is fine” turns into “my delivery is fine but my documentation is a 2.5.” The specific thing, not the general area.

  5. 05

    Your three biggest constraints.

The three lowest sub-competencies across the whole business, named, with a specific move on each. Not “improve your marketing.” The actual first action, the reason it's the right one, and what it unlocks.

  6. 06

    Your strongest fundamental.

Named, because the fastest work usually builds off the thing that's already solid rather than starting from the floor.

What it measures

Each fundamental is scored on its own, then broken into three sub-competencies. Most owners are strong in a few areas and quietly failing in one, and that one caps everything else. A single score would hide it.

Individual results from individual clients. Results may vary.

Before you start

  • Answer for a normal week, not your best one. The report is only as useful as the honesty going into it, and a low score costs you nothing.
  • 40 questions, about 8 minutes. Five sections of eight questions each, with a short breather between each one.
  • Go with your gut. Your first read is usually the accurate one. You can step back a question if you want to change an answer.
  • It saves as you go. If you get pulled away, come back on this device and pick up where you stopped.
  • Nothing is gated. Your results show on screen either way. Your name and email are only so the written report can reach you.

What happens after

Your results appear on screen and a written report lands in your inbox. I read every one. I take 30 clients at a time, so if your results look like a fit and a seat is open, I'll send you one email. If not, you keep the report and that's the end of it. No drip sequence.
